OHSAS18001:1999 provides a set of risk management methods for the organization:
To identify the risk sources of the products, services, activities and work environment of the enterprise through the professional evaluation of the survey and the relevant regulatory requirements.
To develop appropriate control plans for non acceptable risk sources and risks.
Implementation of the control plan, regular inspection and assessment of occupational health and safety regulations and plans.
Establish the management system including organizational structure, responsibilities, training, information communication, emergency preparedness and response, and continuously improve the performance of occupational health and safety.
July 2, 2007 OHSAS18001 standard working group issued a formal release of the 18001:2007 OHSAS version of the standard.
